CHAPTER 1. Introduction
The reason that I wrote this tutorial is because my phone got bricked.
I used Samsung Kies software to update the firmware but it got stuck and I had to disconnect my phone from the PC.
So it got corrupted.. And the horrible "Black Screen of Death" showed.
This screen usually means that your phone is bricked or unable to boot.
The worst thing about this BSOD is that you are unable to get in recovery mode, which makes things allot harder.
You can read this tutorial if your phone is bricked, but also if you want to flash a new rom to your Samsung Galaxy S Plus.
The only difference is that when you got a bricked phone its way trickier to get in Download mode.
CHAPTER 2. Software Requirements
To successfully flash your phone you need the following things:

Odin Multi Downloader 4.43
Download Odin Multi Downloader 4.43
Odin Multi Downloader is needed to download the ROM to your phone.
This application can download files to your phone even if your phone doesn't boot properly.
OPS FileDownload AriesVE.ops
This 1kb file is very important, it tells Odin in what order to flash the phone.
Without this file you can't do anything.
CHAPTER 3. Getting in Download Mode
If your Samsung Galaxy S Plus is (partially) bricked and you have BSOD:1. Unplug your phone if its connected to your PC
2. Hold Vol UP + Vol Down + Power, the screen will flash black
3. Continue holding down all 3 buttons, you will see the BSOD screen again, continue holding all 3 buttons, the screen will flash black again
4. Release the power button only. This will put you into Download Mode
Don't expect it to work the first time you try it. If it keeps failing try the alternative:
1. Start Odin Multi Downloader
2. Connect your phone (which is in BSOD) to the PC
3. Wait till Windows finished installing drivers and Odin recognized your phone
4. Hold Vol Down + Home + Power, once the black screen flashes, release the Power button. This will put you into Download Mode
If you just want to flash a new ROM to your Samsung Galaxy S Plus:1. Turn off your phone
2. Hold Vol Down + Home + Power, This will put you in Download Mode
CHAPTER 4. Using Odin1. Start Odin Multi Downloader 4.43
2. Click the "OPS" button and choose the AriesVE.ops file
3. Check the "One Package" box and click on the "One Package" button > Choose the ROM
4. As you see, it will automatically check if the MD5 Checksum is correct.
5. Connect your phone (which is in Download Mode) to your PC, Odin will automatically recognize the phone. If it doesn't, download Samsung Android USB Drivers
6. The last step is clicking the "Start" button. I'm not showing this in my tutorial because I do not want to reinstall my phone at the moment.
The process will take from 8 to 60 minutes tops. (this varies allot, I have an average of 10 minutes) If it's done, your phone is successfully reinstalled with a new ROM!7. Now you will have to configure your whole phone just like you did when you first got it. Enjoy your unbricked phone / new ROM
Don't forget to ROOT your Samsung Galaxy S Plus!
